Abstract

This work offers a grid-connected solar photovoltaic (SPV) system with a fast power reaching law-based robust backstepping integrated terminal sliding mode controller. An output LCL filter is suggested instead of L filters for increasing the injected power quality. Despite the fact that an LCL filter can increase the quality of injected power, it will generate a resonance problem. As an external disturbance, the resonance problem is incorporated into the dynamical model. Following that, the proposed approach is used to generate the control rule, and the system's overall stability is ensured using the well-known Lyapunov theory. Finally, the simulation result, which was performed in MATLAB under various sun irradiances, is shown to demonstrate the use of the suggested method. To demonstrate the proposed controller's superiority over the present controller, the performance of injected grid current total harmonic distortions (THDs) is compared to that of existing controllers.
