Abstract

Transgressive dunefields are the dominant dune complex. They are found on high energy beaches experiencing high littoral drift, and form two main types, tabular fields and buttress fields. Both tend to be dominated by transverse dunes. The aerodynamics and sand transport of one small (1 m high) transverse dune were examined on a tabular dunefield. -from Authors
