Abstract
Inevitably, Australian politics remains dominated by the response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, and this also remains the case in the state of South Australia (SA). TheCOVID-19 outbreak has impacted on Steven Marshall’s Liberal government, and it has been one of a number of challenges facing this government nearing the end of its first term. In the period under review, a series of other significant events impacted upon Marshall’s government, including a major cabinet reshuffle, along with a delayed state budget held in November.
