Abstract

To check the stability margins the designers commonly use the graphical method which is very constraining when the verification must be done several times, as for instance when a routine is to be developped. in this paper a practical method is proposed, based on the Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov (KYP) lemma. This method avoids the conservatism induced by H analysis and a huge calculation as the one derived by μ-analysis.
