Abstract
An uncomfortable tightening in the pit of your stomach. The squirmy unsureness of not quite knowing. The urge to move when you're bound in place.
3 stories in 3 worlds, Stuck is a triptych of short plays exploring the state being between: between ideas and people, between places and realities.
Created in collaboration with the Prospect Theatre for Young People ensemble, playwrights Jace Grummet, Carla Phillps and Sarah Peters introduce you to a mysterious underground bunker, navigating the politics of the high school formal and the chaotic passion of a public protest. Directed by Margaret Steven, Stuck holds up a mirror – and a magnifying glass – to the situations, mindsets and stories that keep us stuck.
