Abstract
This project, undertaken by Military Training and Research Australia Pty Ltd. at the request of the Veterans Programs Manager at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), aimed to enhance staff awareness and understanding of the Australian Defence Force and its impact on veterans, particularly in the context of higher education. To achieve this goal, UNSW commissioned a 90-minute workshop featuring a combination of direct training, testimonials from student veterans and staff, and an interactive question-and-answer session with veteran participants.
To assess the workshop's effectiveness, pre- and post-workshop surveys were conducted, with the findings forming the basis of this report.
