    Abstract

We are researchers into automated vehicles and law and negligence and personal injury compensation law with Flinders University and Griffith University.

Our submission directly responds to chapter 11 of the NTC May 2016 Discussion Paper. We argue that there is significant complexity concerning liability for increasingly automated vehicles in Australia and that there is a more urgent need for reform than suggested in the Discussion Paper.
