Abstract

Teaching Online in the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CHASS) is an initiative, supported by Online Learning and Teaching (in the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching) and the College's Dean of Education. It has created a platform for teaching staff across CHASS to share their reflections on their experiences of teaching online in Semester 1 2020, including observations on student engagement and performance; and on their choice of teaching mode(s) in Semester 2. The results presented in the report are drawn from survey responses by 19 staff from all three teaching program affiliations and from two focus groups.
