    Abstract

The International Symposia on Chromaffin Cell Biology (ISCCB) have a very long history. In this issue of The Journal of Neurochemistry we have compiled a number of review articles that encompass some of the work presented during the sessions of the ISCCB meeting held in Australia in August 2015, covering aspects of chromaffin cell biology, the mechanisms of secretory vesicle biogenesis and exocytosis, and the physiological consequences of these mechanisms.
