Abstract
As a doctor responsible for analyzing and inhibiting mental deficiencies, such as those resulting from cranial-facial abnormalities, as well as those caused by excessive consumption of opiates, I would like here to make a note of a relatively unexplored medical mystery. Of late I have been treating a young man (whom the nurses, attempting irony, have nick-named "Dr. Lash" because the frenzied plucking at his face, an unfortunate symptom of his disease, has left his eyelids all but bare) who has fallen prey to an unusual category of mania, the precise psychological cause of which I have yet to pin-point.
