The drivers of household water consumption: a regional case study perspective

    Abstract

    This report presents data from 268 customers of Coliban Water and randomly selected from Eaglehawk, Strathfieldsaye and Echuca. The data was collected in late 2009 and early 2010 using mail questionnaires and telephone interviews. The aim of the research was to understand customer views about water pricing, water restrictions, water behaviours and water consumption in the context of prolonged water shortages.
