Abstract

Text messages revealing that Fox hosts knowingly pushed dangerous lies to chase ratings unmask them as unbelievers and just pantomime actors.

The fox has been caught.

We’ve reached the end of my little triptych on the professional propaganda network that is Fox News and its snarly Australian nephew, Sky News. I’d like to thank my co-stars Peta Credlin, Alan Jones, Paul Murray, Daisy Cousens, Rowan Dean, Sean Hannity, Andrew Bolt, Tucker Carlson and Donald J Trump. Your performances were almost convincing. Take a bow. Wave to your fans. Stormy Daniels is waiting in the green room, but the jig is up. Everyone knows you’re jobbing actors now. All of you are fake news.

For years, we’ve had to listen to “CNN is biased!” or “the ABC is a farce!”, peppered with Donnie’s toddler tantrums and endless whines of “you’re fake” and “you’re fake” to literally every human being who dares to front up for anything less than a kiss on the rear...
