The Murdochian Mind ed. by Mark Hopwood and Silvia Caprioglio Panizza: [Review essay]

Abstract

10 JUNE 2022: I HAVE BEEN HONOURED WITH THE TASK OF
reviewing The Murdochian Mind, which was published late last week.
The editors of the Iris Murdoch Review (IMR) offered to wait for my
review and publish it next year, but that did not seem fair to the Murdochian
world, so I am on a deadline. Can I read and appreciate 37 chapters (arranged into
five parts), and write a review, in four weeks? The best way, as I see it, is to read
two chapters each day and, at the end of each part, to write about impressions so
far: a progressive review.
