Abstract

Dr Simone Deegan prepared this thematic paper to be an attachment to the Training Centre Visitor’s (TCV) report on the November 2019 pilot inspection of the Adelaide Youth Training Centre. She drew on a working, and necessarily confidential, paper prepared by the TCV Unit that consolidated all 34 individual
detainee interview texts and the write up of the Detainee Focus Group session.
