This review systematically addresses the contemporary understanding of MINOCA, including, (1) what are the diagnostic criteria, (2) when the diagnosis should be considered, (3) who is at risk, (4) why this new syndrome should be diagnosed, (5) how these patients should be managed, and (6) where to next?.
