Abstract
A facile, one pot method for the synthesis of a series of polysubstituted and 2,4,6-trisubstituted pyridines using a thin film vortex fluidic device has been developed, with the compounds obtained in good yield following simple purification procedures. Changes in fluorescence intensity and excitation/emission parameters are demonstrated through variation of functional groups, without significantly impacting on the synthetic yield. This journal is
