Abstract
Physiotherapists draw on the best available research evidence along with clinical expertise, the patient’s values and circumstances, and the clinical context. Pulling
these elements together is the skill of clinical reasoning. CareSearch and palliAGED provide physiotherapists (and other health professionals) with information and resources which include indications as to the strength of the evidence base, the clinical applicability of the evidence, and areas of controversy and research gaps.
