Abstract

Tourism mobilities emphasise the complex inter-relationships involved in the movement of people as well as material and non-material things at different scales. This chapter outlines some key aspects of research into tourism mobilities in terms of the impact of Covid on the embodiment of tourist practices. It examines processes of (re)bordering in this context and the movement towards more imagined and material issues of tourism sustainability. Finally, it discusses wider mobile methodologies and theoretical issues.
