Abstract

Over the last two years, Respirology has endorsed several guidelines with the aim of improving the reporting, transparency and consistency of the research it publishes. This editorial highlights these endorsements and the related changes in journal
policy. Author guidelines published on the Respirology website clearly outline these reporting guidelines requirements. We encourage authors to take the time to ensure their manuscripts meet the basic reporting needs and thereby improve the quality of their manuscript and increase its likelihood of publication.
