Early travel was in pursuit of adventure and curiosity, exploration of ‘new worlds’, trade, and education. Contemporarily, reasons for travel continue to diversify. A destination’s unique attributes, such as a world heritage site, can ‘pull’ a traveler to visit that destination. Travel motivations also stem from a traveler’s inner desires to
experience something new, break free from routine, disconnect from daily life stressors, or pursue psychological or physical evolution
