Abstract

This report presents an overview of the personal recovery, recovery capital and pathways to recovery from gambling harm and co-occurring issues among individuals and people affected by the impacts (such as families, friends, and kin) in the Northern Territory (NT). The knowledge generated from this research provides evidence for policy and practice settings to support the recovery journeys of individuals and people affected by gambling harm. This in turn will inform the development of evidence-informed legislation, regulations and policies and services with improved mental health and wellbeing outcomes, treatment plans and screening tools.
