A close relative of mine was recently approached at an Aussie caravan park by a fellow tourist who claimed Gough Whitlam sold Australia to a foreign power, Michelle Obama is secretly a man, and that the climate is controlled by a shadowy overclass. Oh, and that I’m clearly “brainwashed” by the elites, or the Illuminati, or…whoever it is spitting poison into my ear this week.
We’ve entered the scary times. The fantasy that “this drivel is only crippling America” has shielded many Australians from the level of sheer weird that has infiltrated our society (including the highest levels of government)...
