Abstract

Background: Clinical education represents a unique form of experiential learning, where the student learns and develops their clinical skills in a ‘real world’ practice setting. In order to develop optimal teaching and learning clinical education activities it is important to identify the clinical placement learning activities that students report to be most valuable.

Purpose: To identify the clinical placement activities which students report to be most valuable.
